DIDACTIC SYSTEM OF SELF-EDUCATION IN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY
Abstracts

Introduction. The social demand for self-education in pedagogical science is represented by the self-educational paradigm, which needs to develop a didactic system of organization of self-educational activity. A significant addition to the previously published research on this topic should be the disclosure of the operational structure and mechanism of improving self-educational activities in the training of engineers.

Materials and methods. To solve the above problem, the article examines the possibilities of implementing a system of self-education in a technical University. The study used theoretical and methodological analysis of state educational standards of railway transport specialties, modeling of the content and process of self-educational activities using the e-learning platform Blackboard.

Results. The author presents elements of self-educational system in a technical University. The strategy of development of self-educational activity based on the means of its pedagogical support is formulated.

Discussion. The results of verification of the developed system with the use of methods for determining the levels of self-educational competence and stepwise research of self-educational activity are discussed.

Conclusion. The conclusion is made about the effectiveness of the considered pedagogical means in relation to the dynamics of the development of self-educational activity and the growth of the level of self-educational competence.
